Roster Editing

Is there an easier way to edit rosters rather than through manually trading players? I'm probably missing something rather easy and obvious, aren't I?

To put players on different teams no there is not unless you want to create a whole new league - if that is the case you could export the league database, edit the teams of the players and then use that to build a new roster file from
