Matchup assignments

The AI is setting up some strange match-ups at the beginning of games. I'll have one of my guards assigned to the opposing center, and my center will be assigned to a guard. I know I can change that manually but I wonder if the AI teams have weird match-up assignments like that. If so, it seems like that could definitely affect games.
