DPI on run play

Is that a thing? Just had it happen in a game I was spectating. DPI on a run play seems weird but there some strange rules

Don't think in real life and strange it happens in game as if you look in the Penalty.xml file, has the play type set as PASS so would think it shouldn't be called on run...maybe a bug?

That's a good call out on the possibility of the play being an RPO, which certainly would explain it.

I don't think RPO triggers it specifically.

If a play is a pass playtype, and the QB then takes off running or scrambles, then the AI still sees it as a pass play and may call DPI. This could be a normal pass play, or a RPO where the QB decided to pass, but then still had to scramble.
