Players' Experience Are 0 (Rookies)

All players' experience are showing up as 0 (Rookies). This seems to be universal when starting up a new save with fictional rosters. The Rookie of the Year Award & All-Rookie Teams are also affected by this problem:

Yes this was done by design so that a fictional world truly starts as a new league instead of a league that has players with experience yet no history behind it
